Jamaica Me Crazy!

Is this cold winter weather making you CRAZY? I know I'm longing for the warm sunshine on my face and sand between my toes.

If you are looking for a spring getaway then a beach vacation to Jamaica might be your next escape!!!

Here's all about our recent Jamaica trip so you can start planning yours!

Getting there

You will need a valid US passport and I highly recommend looking into Club Mobay's Meet and Greet Arrival Service. Club Mobay met us at the gate and escorted us through the airport and expedited our customs experience. It was so worth it after getting up early and traveling with kids. They made it quick and easy.

Where We Stayed

This trip was about rest and relaxation which is a hard balance to find sometimes with kids in toe but the Hilton Rose Hall was the perfect spot. It was all inclusive and kid friendly while also being great for adults.

There were so many options when planning your day. We spent most of our time at the beach and the pool. There were two beach areas one with cabanas which were available for rent.

The other beach area had lounge chairs which was across from the walk in pool with the lazy river and water slides.

There was also a second pool with amazing ocean views.

The hotel has an onsite spa as well as an 18 hole golf course for those looking for additional activities. There is a kids club with a playground and tennis courts for guests to use. Ping pong tables, shuffleboard and outdoor chess also provide tons of fun. With the all inclusive option there are countless dining options and all the ice cream cones you can wish for!

Dining and Celebrations

We spent New Years Eve at Hilton Rose Hall and the festivities did not disappoint. There was an entertainment filled celebration with stilts walkers, water dancers, fire dancers, a magician, music and balloons.

There were many dining options including casual buffets on the beach, formal sit down dining and everything in between. There were two coffee shops, a pizza bar and a swim up bar. We really loved the jerk hut as well as Jamaica night!

Our trip was exactly what we needed after a busy Christmas holiday. Relaxing, laid back and easy going. Perfect for a family with kids, a couple's getaway or a girls trip. There was plenty to do and enjoy if that's what you are looking for but also low key ways to spend your day.
